in the woods
behind your house
a sanctuary a refuge
a dark man lurks
on its edge he emerges
searches...
you tread barefoot, warily
cautious
the snap of a twig
your scent on the nite air
gives your presence away
suddenly
my hands find
your warm, supple body
explore the darkness there
lovers embrace
sink to the earth
wet and moist
intertwine in natures fertile soil
with selfless abandon
our love labors
peak
exhausted we lay
damp
in each others arms
slowly the moon rises
her soft light cast
all about
